Γεια σας και πάλι αγαπημένη παρέα του Scraps N Pieces!

Είμαστε όλοι εδώ, πίσω στη βάση μας, για να υποδεχτούμε το φθινοπωράκι και να καταστρώσουμε νέα σχέδια.

Θα παίξουμε και φέτος με χρώματα και υλικά κι ελπίζω να σσας ξεσηκώσουμε ακόμη περισσότερο για να παίξετε κι εσείς μαζί μας!

Πριν όμως ξεκινήσουμε τη νέα μας σαιζόν σας έχουμε μια γλυκύτατη παρουσία, που αγαπάει πολύ το crafting και πρόσφατα είχε παίξει και είχε αναδειχθεί random winner σε πρόκληση του blog μας.

Η φίλη μας εμπνευσμένη από την τελευταία πρόκληση του καλοκαιριού, δημιούργησε ένα υπέροχο project πάνω σε …. Καπάκια από κουβάδες παγωτού!!!

Ας μας τα πει όμως η ίδια

Monika

This is Dr Monika Shukla from India with a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology and besides crafting also love traveling, listening music and blogging. I am married to a fabulous and very patient husband who understands my love for art and craft very well. I decided to be a full time mother and homemaker after my child’s birth. It’s almost one and half year since I started crafting as my passion and profession. I love my family, so my world revolves around my two year old son and caring husband, they bring me joy and new ideas for my projects. I have recently moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE with my family. Looking forward to visit some amazing places and capture some beautiful moments to treasure them forever.

I do not restrict myself to a certain style. I am more into everything as everything around me draws my attention like shabby chic, grungy, rustic mixed media and simple card making. For me art has always been exploring new things. Paints, brushes, stamps, and stencils are my all time favorite, glimpses of which will be always there in my creations. I put my heart into creating something unique each time. I love making cards, scrapbooks, layout, mini albums, mixed media, art journals, 3D projects and "Off the Page” creations. I try to look for new inspirations and love to explore beyond my boundaries. I get inspiration by looking around at all the creative and talented crafters and websites. I feel excited to make art piece which brings me satisfaction and a different level of happiness. I love to do workshop and video tutorials to spread, express and learn.

I am thrilled to be on Scrap N Pieces as a Guest Designer for this month. It is such an honour to be here today. Thank you very much Scraps N Pieces Team and sweet Natassa for giving me this awesome opportunity and hope that I can inspire others.

Here is my project: “Greek Summer”

When I looked at August’s colors and theme, it filled my soul with wonderful memories. I love beaches and collecting different sized sea shells is always so much fun for me. These colors are so relaxing and heavenly. I love altering and up-cycling, so here today I am going share two altered pieces.

 I have actually used Ice Cream bucket’s cap for altering. Looks interesting, I really believe you going to love both of these.

I enjoyed adding beautiful blue, white colors along with some splash of orange and magenta. 

For final finish, I have used lots of Lindy’ssupplies like sprays and magical shakers, added some Finnabair art stones and some other embellishments from my stash. I hope you will love my project and it brings you some refreshing moments.
